A Celebration of Our Community
​​Goochland Day is a cherished community tradition that brings neighbors, families, and friends together to celebrate hometown pride. Kicking off with the beloved Goochland Day Parade, the morning is filled with marching bands, vintage cars, festive floats, and local groups showcasing the best of Goochland spirit.
After the parade, the celebration continues at the Goochland Sports Complex with the Goochland Day Festival, where you’ll find something for everyone—local vendors, delicious food, wine and beer, live music, and plenty of family fun. Kids can enjoy activities and entertainment, while visitors explore unique shopping, community booths, and engaging displays.
From start to finish, Goochland Day is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of community, connection, and the people and places that make Goochland shine.
Our Story
For more than five years, a dedicated group of community volunteers has kept Goochland Day alive as a beloved hometown tradition. After months of thoughtful conversations and collaboration with the event’s past planners, the Goochland Chamber Community Foundation is honored to take the lead in managing Goochland Day beginning in 2026.
With deep roots in service and community building, the Foundation is committed to carrying forward the spirit of Goochland Day while enhancing its impact for years to come. By bringing together local partners, businesses, nonprofits, and neighbors, we’re ensuring this celebration continues to grow as a true reflection of Goochland’s pride, tradition, and connection.
